Arriva Trains Wales - CCTV systems installation

TST successfully completed a contract for the installation of CCTV systems at 77 train stations across South Wales. The contract, for Arriva Trains Wales, was won against stiff competition. A major factor in the success of TST’s initial proposal was the company’s ability to provide a total solution, which included design, civil engineering, CAT scanning, telecom and electrical wiring, possession management and 24/7 maintenance.

TST worked in partnership with leading industry supplier Gardiner Security to provide an innovative and compliant solution.

TST also relocated and up-graded the Cardiff-based control centre for Arriva and for Network Rail, as well as testing and commissioning 202 telephones on User Worked Level Crossings for Network Rail Southern and Western Regions.

Our technical know-how, combined with our experience of working in safe railway environments, ensured that disruption to passengers (leading to possible revenue losses) was kept to a minimum.
